One BIG Reason Why You Can’t Afford to Miss Night of Hope
Well, we’ve made it! Tomorrow is the BIG day. Night of Hope Owasso is finally here and let me tell you, WE ARE PUMPED!!
Our team is headed to Owasso today with a Uhaul full of HOPE (literally) to bring to the fine people of Green Country tomorrow night. After months and months of planning and preparing, all that’s left to do now is execute and leave the rest to God.
For months and months now I’ve listened to the same song every morning as I’ve gotten ready for my day. It’s a song called “Never Once”, by Matt Redman. As the songs echoed through my bedroom, often times I would join Matt and sing along. Lifting these words to the God of the universe.
“Scars and struggles on the way
But with joy our hearts can say
Never once did we ever walk alone
Carried by Your constant grace
Held within Your perfect peace
Never once, no, we never walk alone”
Many, many mornings as I sang out, tears would fill my eyes as I would think about you, your brother, your sister, your father, your friend. About the hundreds of people that may walk into the event tomorrow night, desperate to hear that they are not alone. Searching for someone to tell them that they are loved. Dying to find out that God has never left them. Hungry for hope and longing for help!
I prayed for days and days that people would come to Night of Hope, not to support our ministry, not to hear me speak or even to hear Ashley Smith. But I prayed time and time again that God would bring people to Night of Hope Owasso searching for hope. And that they would find it! That people would experience the freedom and forgiveness that so many of us have experienced. That the lost would be found, the sick would find healing and that the chains of addiction would be broken in a mighty way!
The ONE big reason why you can’t afford to miss Night of Hope Owasso is because YOU may be the person I’m describing. You could be the one that’s never the same. You may find the courage you’ve been looking for for years. You may find the resources that could change your family forever or maybe, just maybe you may finally realize just how much God loves YOU. And that love could change you in such a way that you would never EVER be the same.
That’s my prayer for Night of Hope Owasso and that’s my prayer for you….
Don’t allow anything to stand in your way of joining us tomorrow night.
