2018 TZ Memorial Sobriety Sprint in Oklahoma City

Last year, we hosted the first "TZ Memorial Sobriety Sprint", in hopes of honoring our friend Zach Arismendez who passed clean and sober on June 4th, 2017. It was a HUGE success! Hundreds of runners came out and we had a blast celebrating our friend. But throughout the process of putting together last years race, we realized there were hundreds of families, all across Oklahoma, who had lost loved-ones in some way due to drug or alcohol abuse.

This year we wanted to pay tribute to ALL Oklahomans who have passed away due to addiction related causes.

By the same token, at Hope is Alive we love to recognize and praise those who are living a life of sobriety!

We love to host crazy fun events that give sober people a place to belong!

And we feel the call to provide resources to the hundreds of families that are still out there desperately searching for hope and help!

So, THAT's what this race and concert are all about; We will:

Honor those we’ve lost
Celebrate those in sobriety
Give help & hope to those in need

What is the Celebration Concert?

This will be a HUGE night of celebration! The 5k will be packed with runners and will start at 5:00pm and the concert will follow at 7:00pm. The events will feature food trucks, tons of volunteers, high-quality promotion and advertising and the top notch production that our community has come to expect at an HIA Event.

Both events will provide opportunities for visible sponsorship. However the bulk of the visibility and interaction with guests will come before, during and after the concert. Here’s a rundown of what to expect:

High-quality entertainment provided by Church of the Harvest Worship.
A program intended to push people to engage with the resources available.
A HUGE sobriety countdown.
A video tribute to those who have passed due to addiction related causes.
A conference style exhibit space for your organization.
Expected overall crowd between 750-1000 people.
